Horizontal Scrubber – Two stages of cleaning

It is a scrubber for the treatment of the air by means of chemical reaction with specific reagent. Generally it is realized in 2 modules:

Module 1 – Acid: the air is washed through a wide faying surface with one predetermined acid solution with a certain pH. The washing happens from above through spraying. Subsequently the air passes in opportune demister (foil package separators of drops) in order to contrast eventual dragging before next module.

Module 2 – Basic + Oxidant: the coming air is there washed with a basic solution and oxidant with a certain pH arranged (for theoxide-reduction). After the passage in opportune demister pack the air passes to the 3rd module.
